You never know dude, def post them! I think I can vouch for most of us here that we are open to listening to new music all the time.

Video game music

Postby dmp1ce » Sun Sep 20, 2009 7:35 pm

If anyone like me loves video game music, I have found some good sources to listen to it. I'll link to them below and also to some of my favorite songs. Enjoy!

SupraDarky's Youtube Channel - Largest VGM channel that I know of.
MAGFest radio - Plays a bunch of random video game stuff. Also has an automated song request feature through the vgmdb
DutchShadow's Youtube Channel - Another nice Youtube channel with VGM.

Remixes and bands
Zircon remixes
Select Start
minibosses
The Advantage

Some of my favorite songs:

[SD Remix] Donkey Kong Country 2 - Stickerbrush Symphony - Beautiful Remix
Donkey Kong Country 2 - Stickerbrush Symphony - original
Final Fantasy X - Besaid
Xenosaga III - Hepatica (KOS-MOS) - Absolutely love this song, but I have no idea what they are saying and have never played the game.
Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Gerudo Valley
Mega Man 2 - Bubbleman Stage
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Sky Tower - never played a pokemon game before but this song makes me want too!
Metroid Prime - Ice Valley (Phendrana Deep Lake)

You guys ever heard of this site? --> Slacker Radio http://www.slacker.com/

Its pretty awesome... its a lot like pandora... I found it on the Android market place and I saw a comment of someone saying "Slacker Radio > Last.fm > Pandora" so i am checking out. So far its really awesome... and it works great on my droid.

I have a change in priorities now.

Grooveshark > Slacker Radio > Pandora

I have yet to really investigate Last.fm

Grooveshark is amazing. Im storing all my music on there now instead of downloading. I now can access my collection from my phone or any computer.... its great.

dave brought me back to pandora... i would say pandora is better in every way than slacker except that slacker doesnt seem to repeat songs as much. which is a big deal for me.
